What is a 3W Ambassador?
An ambassador for 3W Races will believe in the same vision we have for our community: That we should race locally, shop locally, and support local humanitarian charities whenever and wherever possible. It is not required that as an ambassador, you do all of these, but you should have an awareness of your community's businesses and what they offer. From coffee to shoes, Colorado boasts top-notch companies providing quality products and services. There are many small, local charities that are housing, feeding and educating the residents in our very own neighborhoods.
At 3W Races we do our best to support and promote these businesses and charities through our local running events. We also use social media and some limited print sources to bring awareness to these businesses and charities. We are very excited about the past year's partnerships that included four different
charities and nearly 30 local businesses who share in this vision! From Broomfield to Arvada we had fantastic partnerships that introduced thousands of
runners to these different entities!
As an ambassador, you will be expected to present our races at expos, run groups,social clubs, networking groups, racing events, and many other venues that provide a platform for us. Additionally, we need volunteers at our racing events and there is a requirement of your participation at this level as well.
Sometimes we will arrange for these informal and casual presentations and other times it is you, the ambassador, that will present opportunities to the group!
This is not a rigid program with deadlines and quotas; the goal is to find 20 like minded individuals that are excited about what we're doing and want to
spread the word throughout the Front Range of Colorado!
We recognize the efforts and time that it takes to do these things over the course of a year and we aim to please you with swag, free entries, great discounts and some great opportunities to network yourself and your own businesses as well. There are over 45 3W events scheduled
for 2013!! As an ambassador you will have free entry into each of these events. Additionally, 3W Races will enter teams into several other events this year. As an ambassador you will have an opportunity to represent us at these events. Some of those events are: The Ragnar Relay, The Denver Triathlon, Drenched 5k, Crossfit Competitions, Adventure Runs, and several more. We are designing bike kits for 3W Races that will be available at greatly discounted rates as well. There will be free products from many of our sponsors that will be made available to you throughout the year as well as several bbq style get togethers so that we can "bond" as a group! Training runs, rides and swims will be just another fun part of what we will be doing throughout the year in addition to at least one group hike up Long's Peak!!
